Harlem Globetrotters: World Tour is a licensed basketball game that features 2-on-2 matches.
There are two main modes: Quick Match (only the fourth quarter of a game) and World Tour.
In the latter, the player goes through a series of matches, beating other teams to become world champion with a gameplay similar to NBA Jam games.
Each character has a series of statistics such as speed, attack, defense and endurance. All the usual moves are present: switching, tip off, passing, double passes, shooting, targeting, steals and dunks with hoop catching.
During the game, an endurance bar is displayed. It is possible to activate a temporary boost, but the amount will slowly decrease during the game and substitutions will eventually be necessary. Another feature is the special bar, powered by impressive dunks and passes. When it is at its maximum, players can perform special dunks.
Progression through the World Tour unlocks new teams.
